BBYO
Our JCC has a very active BBYO Council. This worldwide Jewish youth organization, for teens in grades 9-12, empowers teens to develop leadership potential, Jewish identity and individual goals. Activities include dances, sports leagues, weekend conventions, service projects and more.

Former BBYO participant, Shoshanna Torn, was recently featured in the Jewish Times for her continued leadership efforts by completing the nationally-recognized Legacy Heritage David Project Campus Fellows Seminar, a four-day Israel education and leadership seminar.

Here are some photos from BBYO’s first run with Back on My Feet, a running club for homeless men in Baltimore. The event was September 26th. The kids met at the shot tower in the city at 7 am and went on a run with a group of homeless in the city. Our next run is October 24th.
