Our arts and culture programs are designed to explore new interests, nurture talents, and build confidence through self-expression. Offerings include visual and performing arts classes, workshops, and events for adults and youth alike, as well as a diverse season of live entertainment and events at the Gordon Center for the Performing Arts.
The centerpiece of the thriving arts and culture program at the J, The Gordon Center showcases nationally-acclaimed entertainment, including music, dance, family programming, film and more. This professional, state-of-the-art entertainment venue includes a 550-seat theater, an outdoor event and presentation space, and a visual art gallery.
The William and Irene Weinberg Family Baltimore Jewish Festival has presented a diversity of outstanding films of Jewish interest for over 30 years. Every year we present a wide range of engaging films that explore Jewish history, heritage, and culture.
