We are actively planning for summer in 2021! We learned so much during our 2020 season and our intention is to return to a more typical J Camps line-up of offerings in 2021, while continuing to follow all Maryland Department of Health and CDC guidelines to keep campers and staff safe.

Culinary Camp at KSDS: Savory

Chef Annie will teach your camper how to create a 4-course meal, including appetizers, soups, salads, and dairy entrees. The final day will include a friendly competition for the best 4 course meal and menu.

While in Chef Annie’s Culinary Kitchen, campers will learn how to bake cookies, brownies, babka, and other traditional Jewish foods. Campers will also learn basic cake decorating skills. The week will culminate in an Ultimate Cake Decorating competition.

X-treme Science

Campers will spend half their day learning and experimenting with the Science Guys of Baltimore and the remainder of the day in camp activities.
Grades K-2: Crazy Chemistry
Budding chemists conduct hands-on experiments connecting real-world materials with scientific principles. Students will learn about the elements on our interactive Periodic Table, make their own slime recipes, mix eruptions, explosions, and even make elephant toothpaste!
Grades 3-6: CSI: Baltimore
Campers will conduct cool science and forensic experiments about DNA, fingerprinting, fiber analysis, and anatomy, and use their skills to collect clues, identify suspects, and solve mysteries. All campers will go home with their very own CSI kit.
Inclusion Progam
Children with a range of learning, developmental, social, emotional and/or physical challenges are paired with trained staff enabling them to successfully participate in all camp activities alongside their peers. Space is limited. Additional charges will apply.
