Co-presented by the Gordon Center and JPride
December 2020-March 2021
This film series allows us to promote Jewish LGBT advocacy and participation across the Baltimore metro area, within an unobtrusive setting. As a congregation with inter-faith, interreligious, and LGBT congregants, Beth Am has a history of offering discussions that offer a calm, understanding, and reinvigorated route to spark Jewish engagement.
We have chosen a different theme for each month including art-house features and popular titles stretching as far back as the 1980s up to the present day. These films are generally appropriate for age 16 and above. We will provide a content warning in our registration email and during the ‘Group Hello’ ahead of each screening.
This series is open to all Baltimore-area residents, regardless of religion, sexuality, gender identity, or affiliation. Our goal is to foster discussion within the community-at-large so please join us after each film for a conversation or director’s talk-back.
Please note, some films have paywalls.
