Illumination Celebration: Share the Light

Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 5:00 pm

Join our one of a kind community-wide Chanukah celebration as The Dancing Fire lights up the First Night. Led by world-renowned fire dancer, Brittany Chandler, this stunning visual show includes a multitude of acts such as Fire Jugglers, Fire Breathers, Fire Eaters, Fire Poi, Fire Hoop, and Fire Swords. You’ve never lit the first candle like this before!

Enjoy a performance by HaZamir Baltimore, a chapter of HaZamir: The International Jewish Teen Choir, who will share their beautiful voices as well as sing the blessings on this first night of Chanukah.

Admission is FREE, with registration required. Some activities subject to change. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Presented in partnership with Shine A Light, a national initiative to illuminate the dangers of antisemitism through education, community partnerships, workplace engagement, and community advocacy. Ignite your participation with #ShineALight on social media between November 28 and December 6 and add your own light to dispel the darkness on antisemitism. Learn more at shinealighton.com.

To ensure the health and security of our patrons, musicians, artists, staff, volunteers, and the community at large, the Gordon Center, in consultation with public health officials, has implemented safety protocols to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19. Please review before your visit ->
