Fall Holiday Journey

Sunday, September 13, 2020

Cruise through the Jewish fall holidays without ever leaving your car! On our Fall Holiday Journey, every pit stop is an opportunity to experience a little bit of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Simchat Torah with a take home custom or craft. Help us stay safe by wearing a mask throughout the journey. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.

Activities along the journey will include:

  • Rosh Hashanah with Jewish Community Services and LifeBridge Health
It’s going to be a year unlike any other! Pick up apples and honey for a sweet and healthy start along with a “Feelings Finder” game to boost your mental health as well.
  • Make a Mitzvah with Jewish Volunteer Connection
Squeeze in a few more mitzvahs during the Days of Awe! Donate canned food and pick up a Bunches of Lunches bag.
  • Yom Kippur with the Friendship Circle of Baltimore
The final prayer on Yom Kippur discusses “Next year in Jerusalem!” Pick up a craft to bring the Jerusalem Temple home.
  • Shabbat with J Early Childhood
Light a little light during the fall holiday season with shabbat candles.
  • Sukkot with Pearlstone
Learn how to make your own lulav with local natural materials
  • Simchas Torah with PJ Library
The Torah is the biggest Jewish book there is! Learn more with PJ Library.
