Maya Eberhart Member & Guest Services Sales Coordinator at the Weinberg Park Heights JCC on the Goldsmith Campus, is one of the newest friendly faces you’ll see when you walk through the doors of our Park Heights Campus. With a passion for connection and an eye for detail, she’s dedicated to making sure every member feels valued and supported from the moment they arrive.
What’s one small work habit or tool you swear by to stay organized and focused?
Take things slow and steady. It’s easy to get caught up in the rush for results and miss crucial details along the way. As someone from New York, I know firsthand how fast-paced life can be — after all, it is the city that never sleeps. But being excellent isn’t a race; it takes time, patience, and intention. Give yourself the grace to grow at your own pace.
What’s your favorite way to spend a Sunday morning?
Meditation, journaling, yoga, grabbing a matcha latte from my favorite café, and connecting with loved ones — these are my go-to rituals. Since moving away from NYC, I’ve made it a point to dedicate my Sundays to catching up with family and friends over the phone. It’s become a grounding part of my routine.
Can you share a memorable interaction you’ve had with a member so far?
Member Appreciation Week at the JCC was truly heartwarming. Hearing someone say, “I actually feel appreciated,” was a powerful reminder of how meaningful it is to show others the same care and kindness we’d want for ourselves. It was a beautiful opportunity to celebrate our members, express genuine gratitude, and create special moments together. I especially cherish the stories they share — it’s in those moments I’m reminded of how much we all have in common. Our shared experiences are what connect us as human beings.
What’s the best life or professional advice you’ve ever gotten?
Be authentically YOU!
Maya’s authenticity, kindness, and thoughtful approach are already making an impact here at the J. Next time you’re at the Park Heights Campus, make a point to say hello — she’d love to meet you!
