Sneak Peek at the Gordon Fall Season

From the return of the virtual Fall Jewish Film Series and Baltimore Festival of Jewish Literature to live concerts on the Gordon Theater stage and the continuation of movies and events at Gordon Outdoors, there is much to keep engaged, inspired and connected to arts, culture and Jewish life.

Virtual Fall Film Series

This special series of three outstanding films of Jewish interest explores the theme of Resilience through Struggle: Films about the Holocaust and Today. The three dramas include Tiger Within, the tale of an unlikely friendship between a troubled teen and a Holocaust survivor, featuring Ed Asner; Plan A, the incredible true story of a secret post-WWII revenge operation; and A Starry Sky Above the Roman Ghetto, the journey of a group of modern Roman students in search for the truth about the past. Baltimore Festival of Jewish Literature

Hosted by organizations across the Baltimore area this November, this showcase of our community’s love of reading, writing, and the written word, features a variety of literary events curated to reflect important issues facing the Jewish community. From anti-Semitism to anti-racism, the events will be moving conversations with authors evoking inner reflection to inspire work towards justice and peace. The festival kicks off with author Mark Oppenheimer in conversation with Saima Sitwat on his new book, Squirrel Hill: The Tree of Life Synagogue Shooting and the Soul of a Neighborhood.

Enjoy movies and more under the stars at our new outdoor drive-in entertainment venue. Our lineup of screenings includes the classic time-travel adventure Back to the Future: Part III, the prehistoric family comedy The Croods: A New Age, and the action packed heist thriller The Italian Job.

Launching in November, our upcoming season welcomes an eclectic variety of musical artists to the stage, including Italian acoustic guitarist Luca Stricagnoli; a team-up of Baltimore’s finest acoustic roots music ensembles, Charm City Junction and Ken & Brad Kolodner; and tribute acts celebrating rock icons Prince, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
